Short review and feedback on Ollee Watch

I recently put Ollee watch in my F-91W Casio, and after using it for some time I have decided to give my feedback.
First of all, the idea is great, giving simple objects extra functionality is awesome. Especially with how popular retro Casios have become in past few years. I hope the Ollee watch team will do the same for other movements that casio makes (Casio Royale Ollee watch any1?)
Instalation of the pcb was easy. I opted out of the NFC tag, because i dont intend to use it. After that, connecting to the phone was also super simple and i have experienced no issues.
Only thing to do was to use it and see how it functions, and so i did.
So far here are my impressions in no particular order.
- Hourly chime with option to make it silent during night is FANTASTIC! This should be in every Casio from the factory. To make it perfect I suggest an option to change the sound of the chime just like you can for alarm (i would like to have just a short BEEP instead of current BEEP-BEEP sound). Also, if its possible, ability to adjust the volume of the chime itself would be great.
- Step counter is great, but it counts less in normal mode and counts more in high sensitivity mode. I know devs are working on fixing that. Another option would be to manually adjust sensitivity. With aome trial and error, everyone could set up a perfect step counter for themselves.
- Sunrise and sunset is something i really like on watches, however it seems to me that the Ollee displays data for day before insted of current day. I presume this is a BUG and fix is rather simple.
-Auto tilt to wake up the watch works 90% of the time which is just fine. However implementing double tap to wake screen (just like tripple tap for bluetooth) would be great.
Overall great product. I really like i have suported this and look foward to new updates!
For the end, few suggestions:
- Checking battery voltage is possibe with some combination of buttons, could it just be a watch face? Lets say some Sys Info watch face where you would show metrics like battery voltage, last phone sync time and date.
- Moon phase watchface could be cool, thou i dont know how would one represent the data on the LCD. Maybe in form of fractions?
- Calendar with alarms for events (birthday reminders for ex.) watch face
- 24h/12h button/option is on the main watch face is not really needed. Can we have an option to reprogram it for something else, like skiping to a favourite watchface or to turn off the screen?
Thats all i can think of now. Great product, I'm looking forward to next updates and iterations of the Ollee watch.
