Pokemon World Tour Team

I was inspired by MandJTV's video "This Pokémon is Almost Impossible to Get. I Got It." from back in November where he got the Ho-oh from Pokemon Colosseum and transferred it into the Switch games. I decided to beat every region's Pokemon League with a team made up of some of my favorite Pokemon.

I'm not sure if there's a term in the greater Pokemon Community for doing this, but I've been personally referring to it as my Pokemon World Tour.

The requirements I made for myself for building this team were:

  • Must be able to use in Sword/Shield and Scarlet/Violet (for obvious reasons).
  • No Legendaries or Pseudo-Legendaries.
  • If I don't like it, I don't use it. Even if it would make the team better.

The team I ended up choosing was Blaziken and Gardevior from Sapphire, Raichu and Politoed from LeafGreen, and Umbreon and Flygon from Colosseum. 2 Mon from each of the Gen 3 games, 1 Mon representing Gen 1, 2 Mon Representing Gen 2, and 3 Mon representing Gen 3.

I know there's better Pokemon to do this with, like Gyarados or Dragonite, but... I like these Pokemon better and I'm proud of the team I made. 😊 Just wanted to share my personal achievement. Thanks for reading!

Games I used for each region:

  1. Kanto - Leaf Green, GBA (Switch version is not compatible with Pokemon Home yet, and you will only be able to transfer Pokemon out, not in.)
  2. Johto - Soul Silver
  3. Hoenn - Sapphire, GBA (No prerequisites for trading into/out of Colosseum, unlike Leaf Green)
  4. Sinnoh - Brilliant Diamond
  5. Unova - White
  6. Kalos - Y
  7. Alola - Moon
  8. Galar - Sword
  9. Paldea - Violet
