From the book, "Secret History of Mongols" written in the 13th century, which chronicles the life of Temüjin, who would be famously known as Genghis Khan. Excerpt performed as written in the Buryat language, the song tells the story of when Temüjin's men offered to make him Khan.

Join us brothers and sisters, as the bard regales us with the tale of world creation and the first man Väinämöinen. From my northern Finnish cousins, written in the first two chapters of the national epic the Kalevala, with an artistic translation to English by me.
