Why does my Nikon D70 show this F - - ?

Hi, I just got a a Nikon D70, but I cant seem to find the problem why the lens is not digitaly connected. I cleaned it with a special camera cleaning towel, I heard it click when I screwed it back in, it is on f22 on the lens, but I cant seem to find to get the connection working. Does anyone here have an idea?
