These photos were taken in Xiamen, China, in 2024. It was one of those summers that felt simple but unforgettable — coconut water by the sea, palm trees along the road, golden sunsets, warm air, and quiet walks with no real plan.

Nothing dramatic happened. It was just the kind of summer where everything felt a little lighter, and the ordinary moments became memories before I even realized it.

Xiamen in summer has a very soft kind of beauty — blue skies, old streets, sea breeze, and sunsets that make you want to slow down.

I miss that summer.
