Hello all,

My 24 giulia quad is going in for its year 2 service next week. The car has 6633 km on it. The dealership said they will be performing an oil change, brake fluid flush and aux belt replacement.

During my first call they said it was just the oil change, and brake fluid flush, quoted at $650(cad). Then they called back to say they didn’t realize it was a quad, and told me the aux belt replacement also needed to be done. New quote $2,475(cad).

If it needs to be done, so be it. It just seems a little curious why a belt with 6633 km needs to be replaced.

Looking for some advice from my fellow QV people on whether this seems odd or not, or if anyone has seen a similar requirement for the year 2 service.
