Specifically curious about the rock in the first two pics of what appears to be garnet overlaying something else. Found in a tungsten mine. Lots of andradite around and I am guessing that's what the outside is? The inner rock is non magnetic, streaks grey, a bit softer than quartz. I don't have an isolated sample to get a specific gravity. The third pic is an example of what I believe is the base crystal that got grown over.
