possibly in a learned helplessness slump

A while ago i tried keto and it was good for me, my face lost a lot of weight and so did my body - around 6/7kg but it looked like more. i also got taller during that time so that mightve contributed.

after around a month or two of keto i stopped for 6 months and continued for 1 month. that was a little more than a year ago, and now since then i just cant get back on it.

i also have no motivation to work out, even though i should def try. if yall have any exercises or machines i shld use along with a diet? i really want to get back into keto because it is very good for me, and ik i shld start small and js cut out the small stuff like chocolate, sugary drinks etc.

does anyone have any tips for me or similar experiences and how you got out of it? learned helplessness might also be a cause because every time i try keto again i stop after a day and that mightve influenced how i think of it now. but anyways, any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Starting in G9, how to optimize

Hi! I'm currently studying as an international student in China with Dutch nationality. I've tried to start earlier but i kind of already know my direction. 2026-27 I'll be a freshman.

Intended major: international relations

Minor: Education

Im very passionate about education access worldwide and hope to work in UNICEF/UNESCO specializing in childrens and womens education still hovering around the idea but Afghanistan is somewhere im really interested in.

I've done multiple MUNS - around 13 by the end of G8, getting 7 awards consisting of multiple BD, OD, HM and chaired in 4 and during G9/10 I will be a Sec Gen and implement + organize the first MUN at our school. I know MUNs are super common so it doesnt make me stand out too much.

I did a TEDx talk on the perspectives of Education in G8 and hope to do it again in G12 about smth similar

i've participated in a global conference that discusses education equity and equality - currently being mentored by a UNESCO worker to create an educational initiative because I got an award at that conference, I cant share anything yet.

President of debate club and I'm going to apply for this grant that an independent organization gives to further expand my education initiative.

Grades wise: Im pretty good usually getting above 94 but then again i have yet to go to high school

I probably missed a couple things, but could anyone tell me my chances of getting into Yale, Columbia or NYU? This is obvi js the start but i hope i built a good foundation for applications

Awards and on the spot thinking advice?

So ive been doing mun for some time now. Ive chaired many conferences and won awards, but im never the BEST in the room. im always a little away getting HM in harder ones, OD in medium/easy and BD in SUPER EASY conferences.

A couple things ive noticed abt myself: im usually too chill abt research. ill leave it to the week before where ill skim over articles and copy paste things into a doc i take with me. I also need to build critical thinking skills and on the spot thinking.

Im asking for help with research and on the spot thinking, as well as some ways that i can smash this conference. itll be my first really hard conference, but i think i might be able to pull it off. Thanks everyone.

Allocation: Peru in CPD - Addressing workforce shortages caused by aging populations and falling fertility rates or in other words how countries can maintain economic growth and support aging populations when there are fewer workers and more retirees.

I get great marks without properly studying but I’m afraid that I’ll drop once I’m older and can’t do this.

Like the title mentioned, I get great marks in most of my classes, except math, but I’ll put that into a different post. Anyhoo, I don’t exactly..study. I LOOK at my notes, I memorize the things I need to, I cram, like REALLY cram, and still get good marks. However, I am very aware that there is a time later on when I won’t know the topics, or really understand them without studying. I am here to ask 4 things. here they are, and thanks in advance.

  1. How to establish if I’m a visual or reader type of learner and study-er - an dhow to know if its true? Ive done a test and it says auditory but idk.
  2. What’s an effective but weird to the no context eye to study?
  3. How should I study or how long should I study for each subject (native English speaker, not so great at math, 90s in science and straight As in History)?
  4. How to focus..? Another thing about me, I’m a Sagittarius lady. Do with that as you will, but I feel like it’s essential information.
