I need help learning about Germanic and Briton mythology for a book idea.
I have an idea for a book I want to write. It's going to be a horror novel set during the time of the Roman Empire during it's expansion into Germania or Britannia. I need know what did those two cultures have pertaining to mythological monsters. I'm looking more for actual monsters rather than something spiritual/deity like, unless the deity embodies some sort of monster.
