Though I mainly stick to little houses, I got the itch to do another small shop. It’s a clutter exercise at its core but there is just something about trying to put together a small space that is a lot of fun. My goal was to make it kinda look like whatever plays in the background while you are in the atomic shop. If I can, I’ll toss a small video in the comments for those interested as it think it tells the story better than the pictures. Feedback always welcome, thanks for taking a look.

I’ve tried building shops and themed buildings and while I enjoy them, I really like building little colorful homes. Might have gone a bit overboard on the interior with the lights but that’s kind of what I like to do and I had fun building it. Thanks for taking a look

I had an idea in my head for the past week about a house that was black on the outside and colorful on the inside. Here it is made flesh as it were, complete with a single sided stained glass window.

If I can figure out how to improve my camerawork I’ll toss it in Silver Bunny’s top 5. I have no allusions about placing among those great builders but it’s great to be involved in this community and I want to get better at building so why not. Iron sharpens iron or something.

Not a completely finished build but mostly there. I wanted to see if I could toss together a quick little house and not use any paper lanterns or the like as I tend to over do it on those sometimes. It’s always a good time building a goofy little house; thanks for checking it out.

Little cottage type build with two dual sided stained glass windows. I like a lot of color in my builds and I really wanted to test out the stained glass and the new cathedral set. Thanks for taking a look.

Inspired by jozzzk’s earlier post.

This would eat up a budget, but I think it’s something that can be done on a smaller build.

You could diffuse the lights by how you space and select the faschnact ribbons so you can customize to whatever you like.

You’d maybe triple wall the interiors to close it up; I just wanted to show how to stack the lights/ribbons. Looks best at night but more or less a glowing stained glass-ish effect.

I figured out how to consistently get the golden fireworks to stay around pretty much until I leave the area.

For those interested in getting the same effect, you just need to agitate the plant and quickly create some distance. It’ll freeze it mid blast and will stay in the area until you leave. I am uncertain if others who view your camp see the same effect but it makes for a really cool visual in an already great looking area.

There is a spot near the smaller sundew grove on the south side that has this weird pink tree. If you stand near it, it shoots this golden dust into the air and occasionally it will just hang in the air creating a fun visual effect. I love building with those pink trees in the background so I thought I’d just combine the two. Thanks for taking a look.
