I was thinking about getting a release version ready for FAE (https://github.com/calibas/fflame-rust), but then I had the idea, what if I replaced the standard affine transformations with quaternions?

So I added a 4th dimension as an optional feature, and a quaternion-based Julia variation. I'm happy with the results so far, I'll probably add a few more quaternion variations then merge this experimental branch into main if I don't run into any issues.
