After seeing The Chainsmokers wear “Don’t Remix My Shit” shirts during their EDC set — referencing the situation where a remix they worked hard on reportedly got taken down — I thought the whole concept was too culturally iconic not to flip into a song 😂

So instead of remixing the original record, I created an entirely new parody-style track inspired by the situation itself.

The idea: What if there was a remix-friendly “replacement universe” version of the song that producers could freely build on without the original restrictions?

This track is a parody, a meme, and also kind of a love letter to remix culture.
