But what is The Guild? You ask, slack-jawed and numb from years of unsatisfying engagement with a flat Appalachia.

Well, prospective Keyholder, The Guild is a Roleplaying community dedicated to “The Three Fs”, Fun, Friendship, and Firefights.

Together we’re building a broad shared narrative that reaches across the wasteland, featuring ruthless raiders, noble knights, and every manner of sentient being in between; combining these disparate stories to create a living Appalachia.

STORIES LIKE:

The Responders Citizen’s Militia, the loyal watchdog of West Virginia, and their tireless fight against the dangers of The New World.

The New West Virginia Republic’s courageous struggle to rebuild despite the dire odds placed against them.

The Howling Fangs, the feral party animals of The Stormlands and their vassal clans.

The Enclave and their struggle for control.
There is no Enclave.

Joining The Guild is simple but our Charter is fundamental to our operation and as per TG1KD Guild Charter ver 1.0 pt1 section 6:
As part of our fundamental values The Guild will always be:
Anti-Racist
Queer-Positive
Pro-Feminist
Anti-Authoritarian

- maternity leave for expecting mothers (wild that this has to mentioned but I had a friend get ‘demoted’ for not showing up when they were expecting anyway The Guild gives you 18yrs lol)

- you to behave like a productive member of the community when you’re interacting with or representing it.
- have at least one character in The Continuity.
- follow the rules obviously

Greetings LARPers of Reddit and thank you for taking the time to investigate The Guild.

The Guild is a small group of dedicated roleplayers looking to raise the bar on gaming RP (just a little. maybe a lot.) and we are looking for new members to join our shared narrative.

I’m not gonna regail you with our credentials we just started and we still have a lot to learn but we’re committed to fun, fairness, and good RP; and if you are, too, The Guild might be your kind of place.

The Guild offers:

A variety of factions across a broad setting that utilizes as many moving parts of the Fallout worldbuilding as possible.

A focused Event environment that pursues immersion and maintains focus BUT ALSO a fun chill Event environment where we just sorta have a good time and mess around.

A detailed and considered worldbuilding environment that weaves together the disparate threads of different character’s stories into a complete shared narrative that YOU can become an important part of.

A culture of fundamental respect for individuals, their time, context, and comfort.

The Guild is queer-positive, anti-racist, and anti-authoritarian. We aren’t perfect but these values are core to our the kind of community we’re trying to build.
