First of all the movie is available in limited screens, I had been to 1 30 show, most of the seats were empty.

It is a simple story made complicated with good screenplay, the story is awesome, something that Darling Krishna would master in. Actors still gotta work on their skills, it was so evident that they were acting I couldn't feel the flow due to actors lack of compelling screen presence.

Positives: Great screenplay, I truly loved how well thought it was, even though it feels complicated and messy the end makes it all better. The characters are well written, can understand their approach without feeling stranger to them, emotional aspect of the movie is logical, almost of the movie is logical for that matter. Love story narrated in Suni style. Music was truly good, suits well with the situation.

Is it worth to spend money on?

I watched this movie for 2 reasons, Suni is one of my favorite director, his old classics are still my favorite, I wanted to give this movie a try. Do I regret it? Definitely not. I paid 200 for my ticket, gladly the runtime was around 2 hours, I went alone to this movie so I definitely enjoyed my time.

Go to this movie if you have nothing special to do in free time, definitely family could be taken along, after a long time a Kannada movie is worth spending time on. If you don't watch in theaters you'll not miss anything, aramagi ott nalli nodkoli.

So back in 2009 Aindrita was working with the director Nagathihalli Chandrashekar (NC) in movie Nooru Janmaku. During a song shoot taking place in overseas, Aindrita alleged that NC slapped her on face for remuneration disagreements. She also alleged that he kept calling her phone outside shoot hours especially night time. He tried establishing intimacy between them which she refused, and he kept touching her inappropriately.

She raised the issue to Karnataka Film Chamber where Ambarish and Jayamala resolved the matter, apparently Jayamala showed her discomfort over NC's act of slapping.

Interesting thing is, Nagathihalli dismissed allegations of Andy while talking to media saying he never slapped her, in reverse he blamed her for lazy and disrespectful attitude on sets.

My uncle that works in film field told me that Nagathihalli had indeed slapped Andy, he is quite a misogynistic in general and bad mouths heroines off camera. He apparently takes pride in his genius filmmaking, thinks he is the only genius, he is overly controlling and expects people to listen to him without challenging him.

I'll tell you the worst part, Ambarish, Ravichandran blamed Andy for taking matters to media, Ravi said she ruined the reputation of kfi by openly discussing this matter to news media. Ambarish said casual touching shouldn't be taken as harassment and said Andy did mistake by taking this matter to media which she could have resolved internally or privately. Ivrella namma ganyaru🙏

One thing I loved here was Andy's decision of openly voicing her concern, if she hadn't done this they would have blamed her saying she was probably insecure about her own case that made her hesitate to openly talk about it. Probably would have even dismissed as false rumors. Since she was vocal about it, the issue was forced to be discussed in larger forum.
