Hey everyone,
So I’m a 25F virgin and I just attended the appointment for my first ever smear test.

I was already feeling extremely nervous because not only have I never had penetrative sex before I haven’t done ANYTHING but as soon as the nurse inserted the speculum into my vagina it hurt, everyone told me it was a little uncomfortable but not painful. I panicked, I cried and stopped the procedure. It’s even uncomfortable, painful even for me to insert a tampon so I use pads instead.

I bled afterwards and the test was not even completed.
I guess I’m posting this to see if it’s normal ? Or looking to validate my experience? I don’t know but that was quite a traumatic experience.
