Hallo zusammen,

ich(28M) habe einen Arbeit in Oldenburg gefunden und möchte am 1. Dezember starten. Leider suche ich jetzt schon seit über einem Monat auf WG-Gesucht, Kleinanzeigen, Facebook und ImmoScout nach einer Bleibe – bisher ohne Erfolg, selbst im Umland klappt es leider nicht.

Deshalb suche ich jetzt ganz dringend irgendeine Unterkunft: Egal ob WG-Zimmer oder eine eigene kleine Wohnung.

Einzug: Ab 1. Dezember (oder gerne auch etwas früher)

Budget: Max. 600 € warm

Ort: Oldenburg oder gut angebundene Nachbarorte
Falls ihr ein Zimmer frei habt, jemanden kennt oder Tipps habt, schreibt mir bitte direkt eine Nachricht!

I am seeing a lot of posts that are utterly low efforts.
They don’t even describe anything of their previous works and directly ask for universities or countries to start a PhD with.

Why don’t you take a step further and directly ask for a fully funded PhD offer, visa offered to you on a silver platter ?

I agree that everyone starts hopeless but a PhD is not a place that you can afford to look clueless ( atleast before beginning one!)

This kind of behaviour is atleast tolerable for bachelor or master students , not here.

What about googling , use numerous chatbots that help you to begin with, show something that you have researched and then ask posts here if you’re still doubtful.

There are so many awesome people here with great PhD candidates, aspirants and such kind of posts will piss of everyone and even the posts that need help will get under the pile.

I am based in Germany.
I have masters and almost 3 years of work experience in corporate.

I wanted to do some meaningful research and thought that especially the PhD in my domain is worth it for that.

But I am already 28. Is it too late to start in Germany ? What’s the average age that people start in a field like Robotics ?
