hi there!

so i'm (25f) on prazocin for my ptsd-related nightmares, (2mg nightly). i've noticed that, as expected, my blood pressure is significantly lower for a couple hours after i take it. however when i get my blood pressure taken during the day (anywhere from 14-18 hours after i take the medicine), my blood pressure comes back high. before i started the medication, my baseline blood pressure was about 105/70. now, it tends to come back around 135/90. i admittedly have not done at-home blood pressure checks--i don't really have the money to buy a machine or a cuff and stethoscope.

is this this potentially rebound hypertension? if my online sleuthing has been leading me the right way, i think it might be.
