This is really testing my patiences
I read this book(albeit briefly) in elementary, so in 2010 to 2016, I can't remember the rest of the story. But I explicitly remember one or more lake monsters attacking/killing the boat crew in gory detail. And at the final page of the book, shows a lady(who was on the boat) in yellow onepiece swimsuit that is bound on an wooden pier with an tube attached to a generator(I presume for giving her oxygen(and she is under underwater), All while a few lake monsters surrounds her. (and iirc, an fatter one that looks like it's their boss)
