Today is officially the first day of flower starting as of 5PM!
Everything is looking good. I just wish that back right clone was a few inches taller so my canopy would be more even. Last run I broke the top off that same plant. What a coincidence!
On the left is Rainbow Guava #5 x Pomelo Punch and on the right is Pomelo Punch.
As of a few minutes ago they’re officially in the bed. Inoculated with Rootwise and BB powder.
Not this Sunday but the following Sunday, May 17th, I’ll flip to flower.

One thing I learned about doubling up cuts on each site is it is a perfect recipe for mold/decay.
The cuts all seem pretty healthy when I transplanted them but I definitely noticed some root rot in a few places. I inoculated the cuts with Rootwise and BB powder.
Next time I’m sticking with one cut per puck! Hopefully what rot I saw fixes itself. Regardless I’m already cleaning the cloner out so I can take another set of cuts if these don’t take hold!
Cultivars are Rainbow Guava #5 x Pomelo Punch and Pomelo Punch
So I was finally able to take an appropriate amount of good healthy cuts from both the Rainbow Guava #5 x Pomelo Punch and Pomelo Punch moms.
I also reinstalled my Blumat manifold, digital moisture meters and TROPF sensors.
I originally took cuts and let them sit in a cup of aloe water. Then I took a glass dish and filled it with about a half inch of water and used that to submerge the stems on the cuts so I could make the 45 degree angle cut without getting air bubbles trapped. Or at least that’s what I always do.
I stuck them in my EZ Cloner 16 site Cloner. Added clear rez, CloneX cloning solution and then let the cuts soak in a shot glass with EZ Clone’s cloning compound. I’ve used CloneX gel in the past but it came with this and it worked so I used it again.
Hopefully my next update will be 12 plants in this bed! 6 of each strain!
Also, I took a shot of what I’m currently dabbing on. Thought it was appropriate considering what sub we’re on. Papaya Fuel #21 cultivated and processed by Standard Farms here in PA. I’d give my left nut for a cut of this so I could grow it out myself!
Put the girls in 3 gallon pots. Shouldn’t be long now before all these tops are big enough to take cuts and still keep them as moms just in case.

I just said screw it. Going to run a 50/50 split in my 2x4. Shouldn’t be long now before I can take some cuts and put them into flower.
