Hello I have an 18x36 in ground pool we did the HTH green to blue but I had a prolonged illness and the floc was left in the pool for over 2 weeks. we have vacuumed to waster multiple times but it seems to be doing no good.

Does floc have a time frame where it becomes inactive so we can run the filter (we have a sand filter)? We do not want to continue wasting water but also don’t want to ruin our filter. Thank you for any suggestion.
