2 weeks today no alcohol. Got diagnosed on the 6th.

Last drink was on the 2nd

Feeling good, biiig appetite lol but still pretty yellow, mostly face head cheat and eyes ofc. Arms look normal. Have all my appointments set up, next checkup and blood test is Wednesday, feeling very hopeful my bili levels have gone down a bit with the slight fade in yellowing. Urine is almost completely clear which is reassuring but won't know til Thursday where my levels actually are.

Overall I feel a pretty good, all things considered, very hopeful. I have no symptoms besides the jaundice and occasional itching. Just taking it day by day. I do have a birthday very soon and not looking forward to my family seing me like this, still get bouts of feeling like a failure for letting it go this far, but knowing I'm doing everything I can is helping

Trying to eat healthy. Low fat low salt low sugar lots of fiber and lean proteins.

Numbers went up

Posted on Thursday freaking out in the hospital when I got my diagnosis for cirrhosis m30

Dr called told me to go into the er today my bilirubin went up .9. so 28.9 now.

How normal is this I'm over a week no alcohol but my levels went up. I'm extremely scared

Is there anything I can do? It looks like the yellowing in my eyes has got a little better but idk. I'm trying not to freak out.

Help with sleep

What do you use to help you sleep that's safe? I just got diagnosed and a big reason I used to drink was insomnia.

Is THC ok?

Magnesium?

Hoping to find some recommendations.

30m in the hospital with jaundice.

edit. that said it's cirossis but couldn't give me any more info. the dr they referred me to is closed I've been calling all fucking day trying to get a referral to the other clinic that isn't closed down before the weekend starts. when they took my blood she really pulled hard on the plunger, I've read that can mess up the bili levels on tests.

idk how I could be at 28 with no swelling, confusion or pain.

Albumin is 3.4

Platelets are 238

Alt 83

Ast 202

from the CT. idk what most of this means tbh
