How to wear Mom’s gold jewelry when I’m allergic to gold

Hi! I have a rare allergy to gold so I cannot wear anything with real gold for more than a few hours (trust me it’s not a nickel allergy, my allergist was baffled when I tested positive for sensitivity to gold). My mom died a while ago now and I finally feel able to look through her jewelry but it still makes me really sad to know that I can’t wear anything of it. Does anyone have any suggestions for anything I can do to wear her jewelry while preserving the original pieces? So far the only ideas I’ve come up with are rhodium plating, which I don’t really know anything about or how expensive it is, or removing the stones and eventually putting them into new, as similar as I can find, settings in silver. Any suggestions would be great thank you!!
