As the Minister of Home Affairs (MHA) - the ministry that has oversight of the Traffic Police - he has the power to do something about this, doesn't he??

REMINDER to all: K. Shanmugam has been with MHA since 2015.

As a reminder to all reading, K. Shanmugam has been the Minister of Home Affairs (the ministry overseeing Singapore Police Force/Traffic Police) since 2015.
The year now is 2026. Do the math.
As the boss of K. Shanmugam, I hope PM Lawrence Wong will have him replaced in the next cabinet shuffling.
If it's fine to hang people for drugs - which I TOTALLY SUPPORT - why isn't the government considering death penalty for drink driving too?

If I were Peter Parker, I'd feel the same crushing weight as Oliver Queen whenever he thought he'd failed his city. With great power comes great responsibility but unlike them, I'm just an ordinary person, powerless and invisible.
The facts speak for themselves:
Prime Minister Lawrence Wong has the authority to drive change that could save lives. Would he cry after watching the video and reflecting on how that boy and his family must live for the rest of their lives?
I think it's not a good idea for MHA to install a TV there considering that the place may not have high human traffic.
If I'm not wrong, one of the CCTVs is pointing in that direction.
Quite silly, in my humble opinion, even though behind that wall is an unmanned neighborhood police post.
Tears rolled down my face thinking about how innocent pedestrians could have been sent flying and lost their lives if an accident occurred.
How about Minister K. Shanmugam? He's in charge of MHA, the ministry that oversees ICA and Traffic Police.
Would he instruct ICA to ban the rider from entering Singapore? Would he instruct TP to charge the rider?

As for me, I genuinely believe that he should be replaced just because of these regardless of whether he is doing a good job in other areas:

I sincerely hope that Prime Minister Lawrence Wong sees the seriousness in this and assess whether Shanmugam is fit for his role.
