Is anybody here going to the law school awards night? It's in stuvac and I don't think losing an entire night of study is a good idea.

If you looked at the SES in my agency you'd really struggle to find anybody who came from a difficult background or a public school.
(On a side note, how is it that a form COSBOA CEO is the most balanced and forward looking commentator at the Mandarin? It feels like he should be the diversity voice to bash the APS but he's the guy seeing both sides of things and looking forward. I genuinely go "Oooh Peter Strong has written another article, I want to read that"; with most of the former secretaries I go "ugh, in what way are we being bashed today")
