Just saw something that said children and teens who have had cancer will very likely have serious health issues when older. I’m now kinda nervous.

Anyone who had cancer as a young person and is older now, ever experience anything serious years after remission?

Something that’s been really hard for me is how isolated I am, I had my 17th round of chemo in March which was my last round and I’m now cancer free ❤️ but Being stuck at home all day everyday is genuine hell, both of my parents are back at work my sister is at school and I can’t start school until September so everyday I am completely alone. I have 1 friend who Is very popular so I don’t see her too much as she’s busy (which is totally fine I understand) I’m so bored and lonely that like the only way I can describe how I feel is just numb yk? I wish I had friends I could at least speak to but as I’m not in school and haven’t been for a while I have none.

(Sorry for the rant 😭)

I found out I also have a liver cyst and what they think is an ovary cyst lolll. And a separate uterus 😕.

But I always find it amusing hearing what people have found by accident

So overall I had 17 rounds of chemo for a wilms tumor (kidney cancer) , had my last round in March (just got the results of my scan: cancer free 🥳) I also had my bloods done about a week and a half ago and my platelets were all fine.

Since Saturday I’ve had 3 nose bleeds, this is probably normal but thought I’d just check aha

Oh and I’m 17 and a girl idk if that makes a difference
