Has anyone here still not received a decision even after upgrading to Premium Processing for OPT and crossing the 30 business day window?

I applied for post-completion OPT on 21st Dec, upgraded to PP on 26th April because I have a full-time offer starting June 15, and my case is still just sitting on “Case Was Changed To A Premium Processing Case.”

I know USCIS refunds the PP fee if they exceed the timeline, but honestly I don’t care about the refund at this point — I just need the approval/EAD in time to start work.

Trying to understand how common it actually is for OPT PP cases to go beyond 30 business days this year, and what ended up happening in your case if it did.

my timeline:

applied on 21st December

gave biometrics on 26th March

upgraded to premium processing on 26th April

requested start date was may 18th
