Straight terror

Straight terror

It took me a week to finish this book and it's undoubtedly a must read. Initially I thought of it as a political dystopian book but part 3 completely changed the experience. It became terrifying and psychologically disturbing to read.

Indeed an unforgettable read. It genuinely made me think about truth, freedom, control and how much of our own mind actually belongs to us.

Completed in one sitting and now am getting paranoid.

Almost everyone treated Gregor badly at the end but it made my blood boil how Gregor's father treated him throughout. The very person whose business debt Gregor was toiling day and night to repay. He didn't even bother to check on him after beating him ruthlessly. Unconditional love is a myth it seems.

Just starting

Hello guys, I have decided to start reading books. Do you have any suggestions on which books I should start with. I haven't read any books for the last two years.

Books I read in the past are mostly self help books, the only fictional book I have ever read was The Godfather by Mario Puzo.

Also I once read this book- Man's search for meaning by viktor frankl and I loved it. so thinking of reading something similar. One of my friends suggested that I should read Metamorphosis. What are your suggestions?
