Help me understand
My doctor said I would not qualify for the DTC.
I have severe mental illness that has impacted my entire life. I am in my 30’s, I have never had a job, I have been in and out of psychiatric hospitals since I was 13, and I have been on ODSP since I turned 18.
Despite all this, my doctor says there is no point in filling out the DTC application as he says I don’t meet the criteria.
How disabled does one have to be to meet the criteria?
