I want to smell like a trader joe’s
I worked at one for years and somehow I’m still obsessed with the smell every time I shop there. In every one I’ve been to I always pick up the same notes of fresh flowers, cedar (from the planks used in their interior design), fruit, and freshly ground coffee. There might be other notes I’m missing so let me know if you think there’s another key element at play here. That burst of air that hits me when I first walk in is just heavenly to me, which is really crazy considering how much I hated to going to work by the end of my run there😅
Also, I’m a guy so I’d prefer something not too aggressively feminine if possible (but I do wear some more neutral perfumes, and generally I’m not afraid of florals). And I’m very much NOT thinking of the days when the demo station would be handing out samples of random hot foods— butternut squash mac-n-cheese notes don’t need to be a part of this. And ideally I’d like this to be something I could wear every day across seasons.
