I was randomly making a list of how it felt each team ranked up against each other within the story, and I was wondering myself about how certain teams would compare in lore if they were at max power, so I wanna hear opinions. How would you rank the following team in strength in lore?

Brazil (with Natureza), USA (with Ryan) , Germany (If Schneider learned Neo Fire Shot), Argentina (with a healthy Diaz), Canada (after their mindset change), Netherlands, and France.

The second club team and the last team that has any data in game that they had any potential work on them. Any teams after this post will be more speculative that I don't necessarily thinks can or need to be in.

Members currently in the game: Akai (DF), Conti (MF), Tardelli (FW)

Formation: Unknown

Akai is a great defender and Tardelli and Conti actually pull their weight pretty well. With them and potential mob characters, they have enough presence in the field that they can make up for no good goalie better than other teams.

Personally do feel like RONC gave the expectation that they should be adding something in the game when the dlc comes, so the new mode they're exploring may be that.

As for what it may be, personally I'd like some sort of Season mode/Club mode where you choose or make a club in the game, scout characters, and have league play that ends with a final tournament.

Had a online match recently of Japan vs Cameroon and I was surprised that these 2 actually had vs intro dialogue between them calling out each other's names when iirc Misaki completely missed the Cameroon match in story due to his injury.

The first club team on this discussion

Members currently in the game: Aoi (MF), Hernandez (GK), Patara (DF)

Formation: Unknown

A really good set of players for a team. Outright could be the best club team in the game. Patara covers the defense well and Aoi can play the top half while Hernandez is in goal. I also feel like other players on the team would be pretty good similar to Porto Alegre Youth's mob characters and they'd be pretty good.

Combining these 2 into this post since both only have 1 member in the game currently.

Members already in the game: Ishida (MF for Uwa Chuo), Sawaki (FW for Meiwa)

Formation: Unknown for Uwa Chuo, 4-4-2 for Meiwa

I actually think Ishida has enough sauce to build a team around him as the playmaker in a Matsuyama-ish role. Meiwa would need some help as Sawaki isn't even a good star player to center a team around.

For the 3rd team

Members already in the game: Honma (MF), Finn (FW)

Formation in the past: 4-3-3

Honma takes Misugi's spot and Finn takes his. Sanada and Ichinose would probably be a bit better than rest of the team, and they probably try to play like how they would with Misugi in the past with Honma being the playmaker this time.

Onto the next team

Members already in the game: Soda (DF), Nakanishi (GK)

Formation: Unknown

Of the club/HS teams that could be added that have been referenced, this team atm is the one I'd want to play the most since Nakanishi is my favorite goalie in the game atm. Would probably be a heavily defensive team.

Due to some more datamining stuff coming out, I had the thought of talking about how some potential HS/Club teams could be made to play within the game. Starting today with Furano.

Members already in game: Matsuyama (MF), Oda (FW), Freddy (FW)

Formation in the past: 3-4-3

Depending on how they handle the other players, it feels like Matsuyama will be where the team has to center it's defensive tactics on.

This thought came to me because thinking about it, a lot of major characters don't have either a unique tackle or a unique aerial shoot, so at most a character would probably have 4 new moves each (Shot, Dribble, Tackle/Aerial Shot, Super) unless they have multiple Supers. Do you think that may be the case for the first 2 dlc packs they come with 9 moves each? Or maybe a move might not be related to them?

This seems to be a divisive topic on them giving characters moves from other characters so I just wanted to hear on who likes or don't like it. Personally I'm someone who loves it when anyone can be made to work well, so I do like that characters like say Honma and Ishida are able to look cool and do well as the other characters. I do understand why people dislike it and honestly I think a lot of differences in RONC and WF can be summed up in a similar way of people liking/disliking it for the same reason.

It really makes me hope we get the missing schools and clubs cause I'd be more willing to use them in WF compared to RONC. I genuinely forgot that Arcade/Tournament mode was in RONC and I think I only played it once so I'd prefer something else for a post story offline mode.

The PS5 version makes it to #19 place while the Switch version is #10 place.

For both RONC and WF, the actual canon tournament gets cancelled and effectively replaced by a new game original tournament made by a nation not from the arc with a much more teams. How exactly are they supposed to cancel the Madrid Olympics of all things?

While playing the game, I was trying to figure out how the bracket looked for the Championship in the New Stars story, and if I'm correct on it, it seems like the tournament was a 24 team tournament, but that would be the story isn't mentioning 5 other teams that played in it.

Here's how it seems the bracket looked through all the rounds as far as I can tell.

Round 1: Japan/Uruguay/Mexico/Cameroon, Brazil/USA*/China, Sweden/Italy/Saudi Arabia, France*/Argentina/England/Spain, Germany/Senegal, Netherlands/Canada, (South Korea, and 5 other teams that lost with no clear indication on which group they were in) *France and USA I don't have any concrete confirmation on, but with how the 2 teams are portrayed, I think France winning their group with Argentina 2nd and USA (without Ryan) getting 2nd with Brazil winning their group makes sense.

Round 2: Japan/Sweden/Argentina, Netherlands/Italy/USA, Brazil/Senegal/Uruguay, Germany/Canada/France

Semis: Japan vs Netherlands Brazil vs Germany

Finals: Japan vs Brazil

A bit ago I had gotten curious on what places had been in any part of Tsubasa while thinking on something. So I wanna put out my results and ask what others should be seen either in the manga or games or other material.

*Note: this list isn't showing what nations get focused, but more who got mentioned at all.

Is seen within the Manga: Japan, Germany, Uruguay, France, Argentina, Italy, Portugal, Canada, Spain, Belgium, England, Malaysia, Netherlands, Thailand, Guam, Taiwan, China, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Iraq, UAE, Syria, Kuwait, Indonesia, Korea, Mexico, Sweden, Cameroon, Ghana, Brazil, USA, Colombia, Denmark, Greece, Nigeria, Paraguay, Bahrain, Malaysia, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, Senegal.

Used in a video game: Poland, Russia, Venezuela, Austria, Egypt, Philippines, Qatar, Chile, Bolivia, Iran, Peru

Used in the anime: Costa Rica, Norway (mentioned in external media), All South America, All Europe.

It's a random detail and I'm at the Brazil final but I find it very odd/weird they felt the need to specify that the members only on RJ7 in the game are specifically the RJ7 versions of them when that's their only team.

Compared to New Hero who was a Newbie Prodigy, New Star is treated like he's already one of the better players from Japan in this generation of due to playing in Brazil and training with Tsubasa. Him learning stuff is even positioned more as trading info where New Star gets to learn from the JP players, but also teaches em back on how he used to train under Roberto.

Here's the video it's from as well from Shinbu https://youtu.be/1nROI-qduAM?is=qFb9C1wYbifbPofR
