Oak Creek Candidate Forum
On July 1st at the Wisconsin Muslim Civic Alliance candidate forum in Oak Creek, 3 of 6 democratic candidates (Francesca Hong, Mandela Barnes, Kelda Roys) along with Andy Manske (the Republican challenger to Tom Tiffany) where asked if support a 1 year moratorium on AI Data Centers and *shockingly!*, Francesca Hong was the only Democrat candidate who was in support of a moratorium while Kelda Roys disappointedly voted NO and Mandela Barnes gave a questionable “no answer” to the question in hand.
As for why Sara Rodriguez and David Crowley didn’t attend tonight, they boycotted the forum when they found out that the WMCA was going to question them on what they thought of the situation that has been going on in Gaza over the past 3 years. 🫡
