In FL state court, what happens at a Motion To Dismiss hearing? This is after MTD and response in opposition to MTD, I'd imagine the judge asks questions that maybe weren't answered in either of those filings. I'd imagine with a 48 page complaint, 24 page MTD and 33 page response in opposition; the judge isn't going to digest all that in the 30 minute hearing but supposedly they often do decide which counts to grant or deny MTD on and fee shifting matters. Basically do you have good rule of thumb suggestions for prep and knowing what to expect?
