Runna not importing properly from Apple Health

I just subscribed to the Runna app and have a question about import of activity from other apps.

Background: I’m a fairly experienced runner, and the Nike Run Club app has helped me immensely in getting to the point where I am now (just finished my fifth marathon). However, while NRC is second-to-none for easy + long runs and the whole mindfulness of running, it’s just doesn’t work for me in terms of getting faster. And getting faster is exactly what I focus on this year.

I find that Runna, on the other hand, is excellent for training pace (but is not as good for me on long runs).

To get the best of both worlds, I figured that I could use the two apps for the different purposes to benefit from their respective strengths (NRC: easy + long runs; Runna: speed work). And that I could then import the NRC runs through Apple Health into Runna to make them count toward my marathon training plan and in the computation of appropriate paces. According to a page on Runna support, this should be easy as pie.

The problem is, while the import is easy, indeed, it’s also deeply flawed. All imported runs are either 9m53s or 0m00s, the distances are way off (my last marathon was apparently 1.51km…), and many activities are just “empty”. Something imports, but this looks weird. Obviously, I’m not very happy with this, as the easy import from Apple Health was what ultimately convinced be to spend around 100 USD on a one-year subscription.

I run with an iPhone SE to track my runs. All apps (+ iOS) are fully updated, all permissions are granted, and I have been through Runner’s troubleshooting. So any advice would be most appreciated. Thank you in advance.
