Does anyone else struggle to find routes for specific workouts? (intervals, tempo, hill repeats)

I'm training for a 55K ultra while working full-time.

Living in a city I find an issue in just running the exact same route day, and finding routes more aligned to upcoming events and races (i.e elevation or terrain).

I had a tempo run today which got semi spoiled by hitting a decline mid way through the first rep, and it got me thinking it would be cool to have a tool that works for specific workouts.

Like you ask for 30k long run with elevation matching X race and it provides the route

Or 4x2k flat intervals and provides flat route that isn’t just an up down on the same road.

As a SWE I got thinking of building this for myself, and was curious if it’s an issue other people face!
