Hi all!

As the title says, one of my shrimps has got pregnant!! Currently they are in an 8L heavily planted walstad jar but given that babies are on the way, I want to upgrade the to a 30L

Does anybody have any advice? I’ve never had a full blown tank before, so having a filter etc will all be new for me. For the walstad jar, I cycled it for approx 4 weeks with the plants etc. I’m unsure how long to cycle the 30L tank as there is an actual filter?

I’d also be keen to know if there are any shrimplet friendly tank mates I could get?

I’ve attached pics of the current walstad jar they’ve been happy in for months, the upgrade I’ve chosen and the pregnant shrimp :)
