Hopes for Itemization
I hope that all weapons and specs are viable. Dependent on other itemization is totally cool, but I would love to see "best in slot for playstyle/archetype" as compared to "best in slot for class".
Items/options I want to see:
A rogue offhand to go with the cheese kusari-gama
Rogue alchemist vials/bombs thrown weapons
Warrior fists
Warrior titan grip in the future talent trees
Priest quarterstaff
Mage athame
Mage mainhand to go with magmashield
Chain weapons where appropriate
More Bat'leths
I also want to be able to craft armors for every main body slot. But the game is in early access, so there's plenty of time to see what else the Devs have planned and are working on.
I'd also want everything to be viable in some sense, but balance is hard. Hell, WoW gave up on having robust talent trees a long time ago. And even The Secret World gave up a lot of the fun customization and spec building when it went to the second version.
What items or playstyle support are you hoping to see?
