I have a simple take on this. With Jayden’s work ethic, it’s better for him to have more potential targets, not less. Some are saying that Diggs would take Antonio Williams’ targets and hurt his development. This is the NFL. Everything is a competition. If Antonio Williams can take reps from the great Stefon Diggs, that is a sign of someone great which is what we want. With that in mind, bring Diggs back home for maybe his last chance to win a chip. He’s made the rounds and this is the last great potential qb he hasn’t played with. He’s a dog.
In terms of Aiyuk. If bro is motivated, in shape, and understands his role and his contract (which should be highly limited), bring him on why not?
This team rests on Jayden and there shouldn’t be excuses regarding lack of weapons or wr separation. If bringing lots of guys in, does not work because of drama, that’s on the coach and is a fireable offense. The Patriots had some of the most dramatic WRs in history, some worked, some didn’t, Patriots/Tom Brady kept winning.
