In general, I had 5-6 entires per section of the ABS. Here are a high-level overview of my ECs:
Employment: A total of 15k hours (yes 15k) as I’ve been employed since I was 16 and am now in my late 20s. Longest and current employment is as a manager at a top 10 biopharmaceutical company (almost 5 years full time). Also was an accessibility and research assistant supporting a PhD candidate with disabilities.
Volunteering: A total of ~350 hours (relatively low) but includes high school coop in Burns and Plastics Unit at SickKids, previous Guinness World Record Holder (group record for building longest DNA model), student note taker for students with disabilities, sustainability with my corporate role (planting trees, cleaning shorelines, etc in the Peel Region), AI chatbot tester for mental health organization.
Extracurricular: Multiple positions on a course union, most notable entry is years serving as an advisor at CAMH.
Awards and Accomplishments: 2x NSERC USRA, OGS, multiple awards from corporate role
Research: 2nd author publication in cell bio research (PLoS Biology), 2nd author poster in health economics presented at CADTH symposium, co-author of neuroscience and mental health poster presented at international and national conferences, oral presentation of undergrad thesis presented at Ontario Biology Day at Western
Other relevant activities: Hiking (Canada & US), Google Maps Local Guide Level 6 (millions of views of my reviews across multiple countries)
And yes, i wrote the Casper for UOttawa but I was rejected from UOttawa pre-interview. I have no regional connection to Ottawa.
