Back in Sept 2025 our front load washing machine leaked and destroyed the flooring in the house. After months of battling with the Samsung warranty dept they finally issued me a check and we got new flooring installed yesterday. (Note: we do not own, we rent)
A couple things, the color was chosen by the company doing the install and I can’t say we love it but it is what it is. The thing I’m questioning is., we ordered trim for the bathroom to be replaced and the guy doing the install suggested we use a rubber trim instead of wood which makes sense. Pricing difference never came up and the job was done.
I was sitting on the toilet this morning and straight ahead of me I noticed the seams were off. My boyfriend says it’s not a big a deal but it seems to me that it’s kind of obvious.
Also, I’ve attached a copy of our estimate and can anyone let me know, where it says “baseboards 200” is that just a charge for them to pop off the existing and pop it back on for $750 or would that cost typically be associated with replacing the baseboards?
Would love some feedback. Thank you!
