Afternoon. My 2015’s brakes are slow to release first thing in the morning, but only while in drive/reverse. The brakes release about 1 second after taking my foot off the peddle. The issue seems to go away once it’s warmed up.
It also has a slight idling issue while in drive/reverse. It idles perfectly in park/neutral. While in gear, the idle is affected by pumping the brake peddle. I’m now wondering if there is a vacuum leak to the booster
My question is a two parter. Do both issues seem consistent with a vacuum leak? And if this is a vacuum leak, any guesses on how unsafe it is to drive?
I only ask because the problem began while out of town on vacation. Parts and service are going to be difficult to obtain on short notice and am hoping for advice. I wouldn’t even bother asking if we were safely parked at home.
