I’m deciding between Southampton and Liverpool for engineerng foundation + ME or another eng course

I know Southampton is ranked higher and more advanced, but everything else leans towards liverpool (student life, accoms, campus, cheaper to live, etc...)

My main concern is:
- Do employers actually care about the difference between these two unis?
- Would I be limiting myself career-wise by choosing Liverpool?

I really want to go to liverpool but i fear that i will be limiting myself with opportunities further down the line as UoS is way more developed for Engineering.

Would really appreciate honest opinions from students or grads.
