2.5 months Dut 0.5mg Oral Min 2.5 mg
Had a hair transplant in July 2023. Started finasteride around 3 months before the transplant and stayed on it till around October 2024. Stopped it before my wedding in Feb 2025 and over the next year my hair clearly got much thinner, especially the crown/mid-scalp.
Started 0.5 mg dutasteride + 2.5 mg oral minoxidil on 1st March 2026. Been pretty consistent overall.
The first pic is from April 12 and the second is from today. Same angle, same lighting, almost same hair length. I know it’s still very early and probably too soon to expect major changes, but AI thinks there are early signs of improvement/stabilization.
What do you guys think? Real improvement or just lighting/hair positioning placebo?
