Applying this cycle, need advice
Is it bad to only apply to Texas schools? I am a Texas resident, I have a 3.87 total GPA, 3.84 science GPA and a 480 DAT. I have almost 200 hours tutoring in undergrad biology and chemistry, 135 volunteering, and 120 shadowing hours. I also had a leadership role in my pre dental society club, needlepointing for manual dexterity, and I started/run an online clothing rental service. I keep hearing that it’s safer to apply to more schools but I just don’t think I can afford it. Is it a mistake to only apply to the Texas dental schools?? I know they get more and more competitive every year but it’s looking like my only option.
