B.S degree in HSA but looking to transition into something else, any ideas? Advice?
I have had my B.S for over a decade but have never actually had a health related job. I was a Fiscal Assistant II at a University before deciding to be a SAHM for the past 6 years. Now that I'm going back into the workforce I feel like I want a job where I'm on my feet more rather than behind a desk 24/7. I've briefly (bc this is a new idea for me) looked into going back to school to be an Imaging Tech or something similar. Has anyone here made a change like this? Would it be worth it? Personally I feel like the pay would be much better, atleast with the listings I see in my area, and the fact that I feel like I'm starting over due to the 6 year resume gap. What other areas would you suggest transitioning to? Or maybe even a job you love and recommend within the HSA scope?
