Hey guys, so I recently started playing valorant, at first I was too bad (of course, I had a very small mouse with no mouse pad, I had a dell latitude that ran valorant at 40-60 fps), losing matches alot, getting 0-3 kills in unrated or lesser in swiftplay, having no proper idea of how the gameplay works or what agent would suit me. But I did find the mechanics of the game really fun, how it involves abilities and the recoil thing where you can't shoot while moving, can only hit it correctly when stationary, and it was very fun to play with friends as well. So I started playing it alot with my friends.

Slowly I started to win matches (although no kills, since I mostly played as sage, supporting my members). But I also used to watch alot of videos on yt and look at my friends and others gameplays. Then I started to understand how to aim, or hold angles/site, aim for the head, don't move, etc. We then all went to a gaming cafe and played valorant together. Shocking thing was that, when I played with a very good setup, my kills were clean. Although I was not the mvp, of course my friend was, my kills shocked him, since I also started to flick and do headshots mostly. Then I focused on improving the way I move my hand. That changed alot honestly, since I adjusted my chair height, and also since I used my mouse alot on the table, the place where I place it slowly smoothened out, so it started to feel better for me. Then came the biggest change, choosing the perfect agent for me. It was Reyna. Istg, it felt so good playing as reyna, and yeah also I used to use guardian at the beginning, but now I started using spectre (if I have less creds) and vandal most of the time. I'm slowly getting better and used to the gameplay. I became level 20 recently and played 2-3 compi as well. I'm getting my laptop soon too, so hopefully I upgrade my setup to a good one and then I can play well.

(Oh yeah, I've had victories mostly below that career list as well, but I just took pic of the recent ones, and it does alot show that my team wasn't well in those 3 matches since I was the team mvp ;-;. But yeah it feels good to finally start getting better at this game 😄)

TDLR: Journey from very rookie to a better rookie, picking the agent that suited for me, adjusting my setup to benefit me, getting new setup soon, praising the game.

Please provide me some tips for Reyna and Valorant in-general please! Thank you!
