We put a firm twin mattress on ikea slats in the corner of the room. The mattress is pretty tall so using pillows on the ground in case she falls off (as well as teaching her how to get down now), but she keeps rolling around an bonking her head on the walls. Not hard enough to hurt her but enough to wake her up!

I was looking at something to soften the wall a little — any suggestions?

Thus far we’ve only co slept with her there or she’s had a supervised solo nap and she definitely likes it… but I’m realizing we have a pretty low window in the room that a toddler (not her yet) could probably access the base of with the help of the foot of the bed. Does this make a floor bed dangerous in this room?
