Looking for an FDR book

I know FDR is a far from perfect president (looking at you
Japanese internment), but I’m interested in learning about him. I feel like he was as close to a socialist as we’ve ever had in the White House. I want to read about FDR through the lens of a leftist. Please recommend something for me!

Started reading again last year. Found this page and decided to challenge myself to read 30 books in 2026. I’m a little ahead of schedule. These are the ones I’ve read so far. I stacked them from top (most favorite) to bottom (least favorite). Interested to see what you guys think of my selection so far.
