Please love your Golden for me.
I lost my beautiful baby boy(Griffin) in May and I'm still so wounded and heartbroken from his loss. My wife and I will never have children (out of choice) but he was the closest I will ever come to having a child.
Love your dogs fiercely, loyally, and with every ounce of your soul. Wring your heart and soul dry everyday for them. They are truly divine and special creatures. The amount of love, wisdom, and understanding Griff gave us was immeasurable and his sudden departure has sundered my heart into trillions of pieces that only now, are barely managing to congeal back into a hollow shell.
Love them. Love them for me. Love them for the wonderful companion, friend, and family member that they are. Never take them for granted.
