Been playing guitar for about 20 years, mostly with non-tube amps and even more with GUITAR > PEDALS/MULTIEFFECT/MIDI > INTERFACE > BIAS FX/OTHER SW > GENELEC 8330

Quad Cortex is on my shopping list, and I hope to replace Bias FX, Whammy DT and the tuner. Would prefer just 2 to 3 expression pedals (volume, wah, whammy) and maybe a MIDI pedal for 4 PC messages along with the QC.

Still kind of unclear how to deal with live. Would it be ok to just output the QC to the mixer/PA? Same with home recording, just plug the QC into the interface and set the gain right?

I just want a box that deals with the amp+cab+mic so I could just plug it in (with some tinkering obviously) and play/record. Is the QC right for me?
