Geese taking off, late winter
That moment, when the honks synchronise and they light out of there.

On top of the Canada Geese there's a bunch of Greylags that usually frequent the area. Density varies, but this is a popular location.
After a pause, the number of geese 'ere has started to shoot up massively. Also getting a couple of greylags.
Context: This area has a vast amount of nutrition available to geese, so they can graze properly. This is one of the ponds where it's considered A-OK to feed them, Royal Parks explicitly request that no feeding is done.
Here's a pair of Greylags who always get aggressive over the (abundant) grain.
Once, it was a tree. Now, it is merely a lookout post, a sort of spire, but the local crows love it.
I understand they're crows - urban environment and much smaller than ravens. There's also a massive rookery they tend to nest in just opposite (in the other direction).
To be fair, it was very windy to them.
Many others in the background.
Pair of Greylags taking a rest.
Lomo shots of geese, the one on the right side is neckin' down all the feathers.
Honk-honk-honk-here's a Greylag in motion. Think one of the local parakeets made a flyover at this exact moment, too, based on the shadow.
As promised, the goslings at the London Marathon. The geese were quite happy to parade their gaggle of little ones before the crowd.
Unfortunately, the reel of film was "ancient" (I didn't have an expiry date - it might have well been 1990 or so) and I had to do a bit of photoshop.
